...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN CARBON AND MONROE
COUNTIES...

At 740 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located between Bear Creek
and Moscow, moving southeast at 15 mph.

Winds up to 35 mph and half inch hail are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Pocono, Tobyhanna, Brodheadsville, Kunkletown, Pocono Pines,
Gilbert, Pocono Raceway, Lake Harmony, Skytop, Tannersville,
Mountainhome, Alpine Mountain, Long Pond, Albrightsville, Hernyville,
Kresgeville, Sun Valley, Arrowhead Lake, Jonas and Meckesville.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
