Hot and humid weather will continue Monday and Tuesday, with heat
indices potentially approaching the upper 90s on Tuesday. Our 330 PM
Sunday afternoon forecast for Tuesday expresses a little higher
confidence that the heat index will be 96 to 98 degrees for one or
two hours Tuesday afternoon, especially the Interstate 95 corridor
southeastward through the Delmarva Peninsula and almost to the New
Jersey coast.
