...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN CECIL AND SOUTH
CENTRAL CHESTER COUNTIES...

At 749 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near West Grove, or
13 miles north of Newark, moving southeast at 15 mph.

This storm will be near...
  West Grove around 805 PM EDT.
  Kennett Square, Ladenberg and Kemblesville around 815 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this storm include Avondale and
Toughkenamon.

Wind gusts up to 35 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm...and may cause
ponding on roadways and poor drainage areas. Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 15 miles away from a thunderstorm. If you see
lightning or hear thunder seek a safe shelter inside a building or
vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
