...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM EDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN CARBON AND WESTERN MONROE COUNTIES...

At 406 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain tapering off for
most areas. However, additional rain will continue for a couple of
sports. Up to one and a half inches of rain has already fallen in
some areas. Be alert for ponding on roadways, and low lying and poor
drainage areas.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Mount Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Pocono Pines, Pocono
Raceway, Lake Harmony, Tannersville, Alpine Mountain, Long Pond,
Albrightsville, Hernyville, Sun Valley, Arrowhead Lake,
Stoddartsville, Jonas, Meckesville, Reeders, Analomink, McMichael and
Scotrun.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
