...THE FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS
REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 AM EDT FOR WEST CENTRAL NEW CASTLE AND
NORTHEASTERN CECIL COUNTIES...

At 448 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated 2 to 4 inches of rain fell in
much of this remaining advisory area last night. The rain has ended.
Any flood waters should soon be receding. This will probably be the
last statement on this advisory segment.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Wilmington, Newark, Elkton, New Castle, North East, Barksdale,
Glasgow, Bear, Delaware Memorial Bridge, Wilmington Manor, Cherry
Hill, Bay View and Brookside.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
