...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 AM EDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN ATLANTIC...NORTHWESTERN CUMBERLAND...SALEM...SOUTHERN
CAMDEN AND GLOUCESTER COUNTIES...
At 354 AM EDT...Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned
area was in the process of ending. However, flooding can still
expand in coverage as small streams are rising steadily. The Mantua
Creek at Pitman has risen about 4 feet in 6 hours and may eventually
flood this morning.
Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Vineland, Glassboro, Hammonton, Pennsville, Pitman, Clayton, Carneys
Point, Berlin, Salem, Buena, Woodstown, Alloway, Quinton,
Chesilhurst, Newfield, Elmer, Franklinville, Sicklerville, Hancocks
Bridge and Atco.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
