...THE FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS
REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 AM EDT FOR SUSSEX...TALBOT...QUEEN ANNE'S
AND SOUTHERN CAROLINE COUNTIES...

At 113 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that showers and isolated embedded thunderstorms will continue
through 3 AM with isolated storm totals of more than 2 inches.
This should cause some spotty minor flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that could experience flooding include...
Easton, Georgetown, Talbot, Seaford, Millsboro, Laurel, Federalsburg,
Bridgeville, Trappe, St. Michaels, Dagsboro, Preston, Oxford,
Millville, Henlopen Acres, Smithville, Gumboro, Copperville, Agner
and Choptank.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
