Most of the heavy rain passed across Cape May County, just to the
southeast of Cumberland County.

...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 AM EDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN CAPE MAY COUNTY...

At 445 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain due to
thunderstorms has diminished to scattered showers. At least 1.7
inches fell early this morning at Cold Spring New Jersey on the
southern tip of Cape May County. Any minor poor drainage flooding
will soon recede.

Some locations that could have experienced minor flooding include...
Cape May, North Wildwood, Wildwood Crest, Sea Isle City, Avalon, West
Cape May, Stone Harbor, Cape May Court House, Scotch Bonnet, Diamond
Beach, Green Creek, Goshen, Rio Grande, North Cape May, Villas, West
Wildwood, Erma and Whitesboro-Burleigh.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.
