...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT
FOR MONROE COUNTY...

At 607 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Narrowsburg to near Greentown to near Arrowhead
Lake, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

These severe storms will be near...
  Skytop, Mountainhome and Canadensis around 615 PM EDT.
  Gouldsboro State Park around 620 PM EDT.
  Tobyhanna around 625 PM EDT.
  Mount Pocono, Pocono Pines, Long Pond, Pocono Raceway, Scotrun,
  McMichael, Tannersville, Reeders and Paradise Valley around 630 PM
  EDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Cresco, Marshalls Creek, Arlington Heights, Hidden Lake, Merwinsburg,
Stroudsburg, Effort, Bartonsville and Shawnee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to large hail and damaging winds...frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors
