SOUTHWESTERN SUSSEX...CENTRAL WARREN AND EASTERN NORTHAMPTON
COUNTIES...

At 556 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated most of the heavy rain due to
thunderstorms was diminishing. This may still result in minor
flooding in parts of the advisory area.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Newton, Washington, Belvidere, Oxford, Hope, Andover, Great
Meadows-Vienna, Allamuchy-Panther Valley, Greendell and Brass Castle.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
