...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHERN CECIL AND SOUTHWESTERN
CHESTER COUNTIES...

At 518 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Conowingo, or 9
miles north of Havre De Grace, moving northeast at 15 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Calvert, Oxford, North East, West Grove, Rising Sun, Charlestown,
Homeville, Glen Roy, Zion, Blake, Barksdale, West Nottingham,
Octoraro, Mount Vernon, Fair Hill, Bay View, Lombard, Richardsmere,
Woodlawn and Andora.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
