...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM EDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN WARREN...NORTH CENTRAL BUCKS AND EASTERN NORTHAMPTON
COUNTIES...

At 511 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to two inches of rain have already fallen near Forks
Pennsylvania. More rain will occur in parts of this advisory area
during the next 45 minutes.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Easton, Forks, Wilson, Nazareth, Bangor, Belvidere, Harmony, Oxford,
Alpha, Belfast, West Easton, Tatamy, Riegelsville, Glendon, Roxburg,
Old Orchard, Phillipsburg, Stockertown, Eastlawn Gardens and Palmer
Heights.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
