The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Sussex County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Warren County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Northeastern Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Northeastern Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 630 PM EDT

* At 433 PM EDT...Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms moving northeast from northeast Pennsylvania. This
  will cause minor flooding in parts of the advisory area late this
  afternoon and early evening.  There may be a few reports of pea
  sized hail as well as lightning strikes and possibly a wind gust
  to 40 mph.


* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Port Jervis, Newton, Montague, East Stroudsburg, Washington,
  Blairstown, Hamburg, Belvidere, Oxford, Sussex, Hope, Branchville,
  Andover, High Point, Werry Lake, Greendell, Millbrook, Delaware
  Water Gap, Vernon Valley and Pellettown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams...rivers...or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated...or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
