...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EAST CENTRAL SALEM AND
SOUTHEASTERN GLOUCESTER COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened and. moved out
of the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. Heavy
rain and gusty winds could still be possible this evening.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southern New Jersey.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN ATLANTIC...SOUTHEASTERN CUMBERLAND AND CAPE MAY
COUNTIES...

At 510 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Estell Manor to Goshen to 11 miles south of Fortesque,
moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

These severe storms will be near...
  Goshen and Dennisville around 515 PM EDT.
  Cape May Court House and English Creek around 520 PM EDT.
  Somers Point, Northfield, Avalon, Stone Harbor, Corbin City and
  Scotch Bonnet around 525 PM EDT.
  Ocean City, North Wildwood, Beesleys Point, Marmora and Seaville
  around 530 PM EDT.
  Margate City, Sea Isle City, Longport, North Cape May, Strathmere
  and Green Creek around 535 PM EDT.
  Cape May, West Cape May and Rio Grande around 540 PM EDT.
  Wildwood Crest and Diamond Beach around 545 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Erma,
Whitesboro-Burleigh, Linwood, Villas and West Wildwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
