...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM EDT
FOR WESTERN KENT...NORTHEASTERN QUEEN ANNE'S...NORTHEASTERN CAROLINE
AND EAST CENTRAL KENT COUNTIES...

At 542 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Sudlersville to near Centerville, moving east at 35
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Centerville, Centreville, Greensboro, Oakland, Ridgely, Millington,
Sudlersville, Goldsboro, Hartly, Starr, Jumptown, Hazlettville,
Sandtown, Carville, Hope, Kenton, Henderson, Marydel, Templeville and
Barclay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to damaging winds...frequent cloud to ground lightning
is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
