The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
northern and central New Jersey.

FOR SOUTHEASTERN SOMERSET...NORTHEASTERN MONMOUTH AND MIDDLESEX
COUNTIES...

At 520 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over East Brunswick,
or over New Brunswick, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

This severe storm will be near...
  Old Bridge around 525 PM EDT.
  Perth Amboy, Sayreville and Brownville around 530 PM EDT.
  Matawan around 535 PM EDT.
  Lincroft around 540 PM EDT.
  Keansburg around 545 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Madison
Park, Highland Park, South Plainfield, Iselin, Metuchen, Sewaren,
Keyport, Port Reading, Strathmore and Milltown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
