...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN BERKS AND
NORTHWESTERN LEHIGH COUNTIES...

At 435 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Snyders to near Orwigsburg. Movement was
southeast at 35 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm...and may cause
ponding on roadways and poor drainage areas. Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 15 miles away from a thunderstorm. If you see
lightning or hear thunder seek a safe shelter inside a building or
vehicle.

Locations impacted include...
Allentown, Kutztown, Hamburg, Fleetwood, Topton, Shoemakersville,
Lyons, Lenhartsville, Wanamakers, Coffeetown, New Tripoli,
Claussville, Schnecksville and Fullerton.
