The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for Minor Flooding in Poor Drainage Areas for...
  Northern Berks County in eastern Pennsylvania...
  Lehigh County in eastern Pennsylvania...
  Carbon County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
  Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 730 PM EDT

* At 322 PM EDT...Doppler radar indicated clusters and bands of
  heavy rain showers and isolated strong thunderstorms moving into
  and through east central and northeast Pennsylvania. This will
  continue through at least 530 PM and result in pockets of minor
  flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas in some urban centers
  will also result in minor flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Allentown, Lehighton, Mount Pocono, Bethlehem, Emmaus, Northampton,
  East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Hellertown, Nazareth, Palmerton,
  Bangor, Kutztown, Jim Thorpe, Hamburg, Slatington, Pen Argyl,
  Nesquehoning, Wind Gap and Bath.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Keep children away from storm drains...culverts...creeks and streams.
Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams...urban areas...highways...streets and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams...rivers...or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.
