...SLIPPERY TRAVEL TONIGHT...
At 9 PM...The wintry mix that fell earlier across the northern
suburbs of Philadelphia in eastern Pennsylvania and in central New
Jersey has ended. However, with temperatures in the upper 20s and
lower 30s, wet surfaces could freeze.
Use caution if traveling tonight. Untreated secondary roads,
bridges and overpasses are the most likely to become icy. Slow
down and keep a safe distance between you and the vehicle ahead of
you in case you encounter any icy patch.

...LIGHT FREEZING RAIN WILL TAPER OFF LATE THIS EVENING...
Steady light freezing rain, mixing in with sleet at times, will
taper off from northwest to southeast across Chester County in
southeastern Pennsylvania, Cecil and Kent Counties in northeastern
Maryland and New Castle County in northern Delaware between 9 PM
and 11 PM.
With temperatures just below freezing, up to several hundredths
of an inch of ice accretion will continue to make travel slippery.
In New Castle County, where temperatures outside of the urban
areas are hovering around 32 degrees, icing should be more
spotty and limited to the more rural areas.
Use caution if traveling tonight. Untreated secondary roads,
bridges and overpasses are the most likely to become icy. Slow
down and keep a safe distance between you and the vehicle ahead of
you in case you encounter any icy patch.

...ICY SPOTS DEVELOPING TONIGHT...
Light rain, mixing in with sleet at times, will taper off from
west to east across Philadelphia and southern New Jersey between 9
PM and 11 PM this evening. Spotty freezing rain is also possible
in the coldest spots in the New Jersey Pine Barrens.

Use caution if traveling tonight. Untreated secondary roads,
bridges and overpasses are the most likely to become icy. Slow
down and keep a safe distance between you and the vehicle ahead of
