...Snow will fall moderately at times through early this afternoon
before tapering to flurries from west to east...
It appears the heaviest band of snow is now developing from near
Chesapeake Bay into Philadelphia's northwest suburbs with 1 to possibly
2 inch per hour snowfall rates for 30 minutes to an hour as that
band moves east. The Philadelphia Wilmington metro area as well as
northeast Maryland will endure a last band of intense snowfall
with visibility briefly down to a quarter mile between now and 230
PM. The snow will taper to flurries shortly after this band moves
through.
Be prepared for difficult traveling conditions early this afternoon
before conditions rapidly improve later in the day.
