SOUTHEASTERN GLOUCESTER COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 800 PM EST for
southern New Jersey. A severe thunderstorm watch also remains in
effect until 900 PM EST for southern New Jersey.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM EST
FOR ATLANTIC...SOUTHEASTERN CUMBERLAND...CAPE MAY AND SOUTHEASTERN
BURLINGTON COUNTIES...

At 549 PM EST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Hammonton to Belleplain Forest to 8 miles west of
Green Creek, moving northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near...
  Hammonton, Estell Manor, Batsto and Elwood-Magnolia around 555 PM
  EST.
  Egg Harbor City, English Creek, Wharton State Forest and Scotch
  Bonnet around 600 PM EST.
  Somers Point, Avalon, Longport and Dennisville around 605 PM EST.
  Pleasantville, Ventnor City, Northfield, Absecon, Margate City,
  Sea Isle City, Seaville, Strathmere and Pomona around 610 PM EST.
  Atlantic City, Ocean City, Brigantine, Port Republic, Marmora and
  Beesleys Point around 615 PM EST.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Erma,
Whitesboro-Burleigh, Linwood, Folsom, Collings Lakes, Villas, West
Wildwood and Mystic Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

In addition to large hail and damaging winds...frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors
immediately. Remember...if you can hear thunder...you are close
enough to be struck by lightning.
