...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR KENT COUNTY IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 800 PM EST for
central and southern Delaware...and eastern and northeastern
Maryland.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 PM EST
FOR SOUTHERN KENT...EASTERN TALBOT...SOUTHEASTERN QUEEN ANNE'S AND
CAROLINE COUNTIES...

At 443 PM EST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Camden to Windyhill, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near...
  Dover, Camden, Woodside, Dover Base Housing, Rising Sun-Lebanon
  and Rising Sun around 450 PM EST.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include
Highland Acres, Felton, Rodney Village, Woodside East, Marydel,
Hillsboro, Wyoming, Little Creek, Kent Acres and Riverview.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.

In addition to large hail and damaging winds...frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors
immediately. Remember...if you can hear thunder...you are close
enough to be struck by lightning.
