...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST
SUNDAY NIGHT...
* LOCATIONS...The southern Poconos and far northwest New Jersey.
* HAZARD TYPES...Freezing rain...sleet...and snow.
* SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS..Less than an inch during the day
Sunday...with an additional inch or two overnight.
* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...around a tenth of an inch.
* TIMING...Precipitation is expected to begin overnight, likely in
the form of freezing rain. A mixture of freezing rain, sleet,
and snow is expected during the day Sunday. Light freezing rain
could linger into Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...Ice and snow accumulations will create treacherous
driving conditions. The weight of the ice and snow on tree
limbs and power lines could produce isolated outages.
* WINDS...East 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
* TEMPERATURES...In the upper 20s to lower 30s.

Temperatures may be warm enough for the precipitation to begin
as rain, but they are expected to cool below freezing by
sunrise on Sunday. A mixture of freezing rain and sleet is
expected during the day on Sunday. Precipitation may
transition back to rain by the afternoon before tapering off
during the early evening hours.
