...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* ACCUMULATIONS...snow accumulation of 4 to 10 inches with up to
  a foot in the elevated terrain of far northern New Jersey.

* LOCATIONS...parts of central and northern New Jersey.

* HAZARD TYPES...Heavy snow.

* TIMING...snow will end by around 3:00 PM.

* IMPACTS...The heavy snow will make a few roads impassable. The
  combination of heavy snow and gusty winds may produce some
  power outages due to the weight of the snow on tree limbs and
  power lines.

* WINDS...Northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.

* TEMPERATURES...In the 20s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter
weather conditions are occurring. Significant amounts of snow
will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an emergency. If you
must travel...keep an extra flashlight... food...and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
