...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* ACCUMULATIONS...snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches.

* LOCATIONS...Eastern Pennsylvania and central and northern New
  Jersey.

* HAZARD TYPES...Heavy snow.

* TIMING...snow...will continue heavy at times this morning. The
  heavy snow ends over most of the area by Noon. Strong northwest
  wind gusts to near 45 mph this afternoon may hamper snow removal
  efforts. Snowfall of 1 to 2 inches per hour should occur for
  several hours this morning.

* IMPACTS...The heavy snow will make a few roads impassable. The
  combination of heavy snow and gusty winds may produce some power
  outages due to the weight of the snow on tree limbs and power
  lines.

* WINDS...North 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph becoming
  northwest with gusts to 45 mph this afternoon.

* TEMPERATURES...Falling into the 20s over most of this area
  during the snow before a slight recovery in the afternoon.

* Visibility...one quarter mile or less at times this morning.

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring.  Significant amounts of
snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in

* HAZARD TYPES...sleet to heavy snow by 7 or 8 am.

* ACCUMULATIONS...Snow accumulation of 5 to 10 inches.

* TIMING...Rain and sleet will change to snow by 7 or 8 am. snow
  will fall heavily at times through early afternoon. snow then
  ends by 3 or 4 PM. Snowfall of 1 to 2 inches per hour should
  occur for a couple of hours this morning.

* IMPACTS...The heavy snow may make a few roads impassable for a
  short period of time. The combination of heavy snow and gusty
  winds may produce some power outages due to the weight of the
  snow on tree limbs and power lines.

* WINDS...North 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph becoming
  northwest this afternoon with gusts to 50 mph.

* TEMPERATURES...Falling into the upper 20s to around 30 during
  the snow then a slight afternoon recovery.

* Visibility...one quarter mile or less at times later this
  morning into midday.

  Delaware into the southern tip of New Jersey.

* HAZARD TYPES...Snow and sleet.

* ACCUMULATIONS...Snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches.

* TIMING...heaviest sleet and snow will fall between 8 am and 11
  am then quickly end around Noon.

* IMPACTS...The snow and sleet will create hazardous travel. The
  combination of snow and strong winds could produce isolated
  power outages.

* WINDS...North to northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40
  mph.

* TEMPERATURES...falling to near 30 during the snow and sleet
  then recovering slightly during the afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
