...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM EDT
FOR NORTHERN OCEAN...SOUTHEASTERN MERCER...NORTHEASTERN BURLINGTON...
MONMOUTH AND SOUTHEASTERN MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...

At 719 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Keansburg to Woodruff, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 715 PM an weather station at Perth
         Amboy reported winds near 50 mph. Additionally, public
         reported trees and wires down across portions of Middlesex
         County when the storm went through there earlier.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Sandy Hook, Lakewood,
Middletown, Old Bridge, Jackson, Howell, Marlboro, Manalapan, Tinton
Falls, Holmdel, Red Bank, Matawan, Manasquan, Highlands, Point
Pleasant Beach, Allentown and Farmingdale.
