...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHERN MORRIS...NORTHEASTERN HUNTERDON AND NORTHERN SOMERSET
COUNTIES...

At 606 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Peapack And
Gladstone, or 9 miles northwest of Somerville, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Morristown, Somerville, Bridgewater, Madison, Chatham, Morris Plains,
Mendham, Peapack And Gladstone, Chester, Lebanon, Califon, Far Hills,
Martinsville, Millington, White House Station, Basking Ridge,
Parsippany, Long Valley, North Plainfield and Bernardsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
