...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM EDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN BERKS...NORTHWESTERN LEHIGH AND SOUTH CENTRAL CARBON
COUNTIES...

At 445 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that rainfall rates were on
the decrease. However, runoff from the earlier heavy rain will
continue to cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Rainfall
amounts of one to two and a half inches have occurred in much of the
advisory area.

Some locations that could continue to experience flooding
include...
Allentown, Lehighton, Kutztown, Jim Thorpe, Hamburg, Topton,
Leesport, Shoemakersville, Lenhartsville, New Mahoning, Neffs,
Wanamakers, Coffeetown, New Tripoli, Jordan Valley, Schnecksville,
Claussville, Ancient Oaks, Summit Hill and Weissport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
