The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  Southern Berks County in eastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 930 PM EDT

* At 536 PM EDT...Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  a slow-moving thunderstorm moving into southwestern Berks County.
  Torrential downpours will cause urban and small stream flooding in
  the advisory area. Rainfall of 1 to 2 inches in an hour can be
  expected with this storm.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Reading, Wyomissing, Birdsboro, Sinking Spring, Laureldale,
  Womelsdorf, Wernersville, Newmanstown, Leesport, Elverson, Bally,
  Bernville, Bechtelsville, New Morgan, Spring Ridge, Fairview Hgts,
  Shillington, West Reading, Boyertown and Mount Penn.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams...urban areas...highways...streets and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
