...A LINE OF HEAVY SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT
NORTH CENTRAL OCEAN... SOUTHEASTERN MORRIS...EASTERN
SOMERSET...MONMOUTH AND MIDDLESEX COUNTIES...

At 413 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy showers and embedded
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Basking
Ridge to near Plainfield to near Millstone to near Dayton to near
Manalapan to near Six Flags Theme Park. Movement was northeast at 35
mph.

Local winds gusts to 35 mph are possible with this line, especially
along the leading edge of the heavy rain.

Locations impacted include...
New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Long Branch, Morristown, Asbury Park,
Somerset, Edison, Middletown, Old Bridge, Howell, East Brunswick,
South Brunswick, Sayreville, North Brunswick, Marlboro, Manalapan,
Carteret, Tinton Falls, Holmdel and Madison.

Heavy rainfall is occurring with these showers and storms, and may
cause localized flooding and will result in times of significantly
reduced visibilities. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring. Lightning can
strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside
a building or vehicle.
