The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for Minor Flooding in Poor Drainage Areas for...
  West central Sussex County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 615 PM EDT

* At 219 PM EDT...Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding. Overflowing poor
  drainage areas will result in minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Doppler radar has indicated that as much as one inch of rain has
  already fallen.

* Some locations that could experience flooding include...
  Mount Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Bushkill, Wind Gap, Stormville,
  Brodheadsville, Kunkletown, Werry Lake, Pocono Pines, Gilbert,
  Pocono Raceway, Delaware Water Gap, Skytop, Tannersville,
  Mountainhome, Alpine Mountain, Rossland, Long Pond, Hernyville and
  Kresgeville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams...rivers...or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated...or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
