...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 AM EDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN HUNTERDON AND SOUTHERN SOMERSET COUNTIES...

At 843 AM EDT...the rains and thunderstorms from earlier have moved
well east of the area and no more significant rain is expected for
the next few hours. The excessive rains from earlier are still
causing small streams to run highs and other issues across the area.

since begun to recede.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Somerville, Somerset, Bound Brook, Manville, Flemington, Stockton,
Millstone, Flagtown, Sergeantsville, Cloverhill, Belle Mead,
Martinsville, Sand Brook, Raritan, South Bound Brook and
Lambertville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter any roads that are closed or have standing water
across them, turn around and find another way. Remember, most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Report any significant flooding to your local law enforcement agency
or to the National Weather Service office.
