The threat of poor drainage flooding will continue into Tuesday.

Another round of moderate to perhaps locally heavy rainfall is
possible on Thursday. The risk for flooding will increase with each
successive rainfall event as soils become increasingly saturated and
streams run higher. There is still some uncertainty regarding the
extent of the flooding so please continue to monitor the latest
forecasts.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

There is a risk of brief poor drainage flooding early Tuesday.

There is a small chance for a severe thunderstorm Tuesday.

There is a small chance of of minor tidal inundation flooding
Thursday, mainly the afternoon high tide cycle for northern New
Jersey.

Another round of moderate to perhaps locally heavy rainfall is
possible on Thursday. The risk for flooding increases with each
successive rainfall event as soils become increasingly saturated and
streams run higher. There is still some uncertainty regarding the
extent of the flooding so please continue to monitor the latest
forecasts.

There is a potential for strong to severe thunderstorms on Thursday.
Locally damaging winds is the primary threat.
