Anne Arundel County has been activated as of 0000 Monday.
We are closing radio operations at 1200 Monday until the storm subsides for
 personnel safety.
We are monitoring WEB EOC and the news.

We do not need any volunteers, but are activated and operational at our

Subject: [MRIC] Call for volunteers

Maryland ROs,

There is a 50% chance we may need a dozen additional RACES Operators in
Talbot County Sunday evening through Tuesday. If you are not planning on
activating for the hurricane, or if you have more volunteers than you
need,

please start asking who is available and make a list. I will let you know
Sunday afternoon if we need help.

If we do need help, I will need trained RACES operators that have
completed

ICS-700 and ICS-100, and are experienced sending and receiving ICS-213
forms. Any class license is fine.

I may also need portable 45 watt VHF rigs with power supply, antennas and
transmission line.

Thank you.
