In case anyone was not able to read Kristin's email, here it is again...

---------------------------

Good Morning All,

I hope that all of you have been enjoying your summer so far. I
apologize up front for the lateness in this correspondence- between the
conference, work, Grad School and a few other items; things have been a
bit crazy.

I am very happy to tell you that the Association voted to accept the
Amateur Radio Interoperability Recommendations for Maryland
Jurisdictions document that you all worked so hard on.

The Association has requested the following items of MRIC:

1. Continue to exist as a Committee of the Association
2. Review and revise, as needed, the document to ensure its
effectiveness
3. Explore funding possibilities to fulfill the recommendations
within the document
4. Continue to support and evaluate each jurisdiction to help
ensure RACES interoperability throughout the State of Maryland
5. As always, continue to share your ideas with the Association

I have contacted Director Muth's office at MEMA to see if they have an
idea of when the Winter Meeting will be. As soon as I know the date I
will let you all know-it will most likely be in November or December.

Please know all your hard work has been greatly appreciated!!!!!! I
look forward to seeing you all soon :-)

-Kris
