Come and see our latest exhibit, The Varian Brothers. Sigurd and Russel Varian were raised in Halcyon before going on to invent the Klystron tube, a necessary prerequisite for such technologies as radar, satellite communication, medical scanners, guitar amps, and much more. Without the Klystron - without the Varians - the technology that makes up our modern world would not be possible.

Has it been a while since you visited the museum? The History Center Museum is housed in the historic Carnegie Library building across the street from the Mission and is open from 11 to 5 every day except Tuesday. Admission is free, donations accepted. Why not pay a visit this weekend?
