All,

If you would like to come directly to our meeting location (rather than
checking in at the museum office) – attached are the directions and details
(which likely won’t make it through the reflector).  I am directly mailing
those that have provided me their email address.  We are in Building 701.
If you drive down the main drag to the end and hang a left on Kern Ave
it’s
just a block down.  

·       We have a number of folks here already (we all enjoyed dinner at the
DFAC).  

·       The SWAP is looking up as we already have a U-Haul trailer here and
Hank Brown has two vehicles full of stuff.  Charles Jenzen drove his bus
(wow).

 

DFAC UPDATE

Dinner tonight was Pizza (or Tortellini)
lots of food and bottomless hot
chocolate.  (picture attached).  They will be closed for meals for
Lunch/Dinner on Friday.  However, the PX is open for food and you can get
lunch at the Café across from the PX (very limited selection there).  There
is also delivery from SLO.  Turns out that there are a number of SLO
restaurants that will deliver to the Post.  More details when you arrive.
You will not starve and the DFAC is open again on Saturday for all meals.
Tom Murphy and Verne Anderson have promised to pick up coffee (maybe even
some donuts??).  I have some Costco Muffins here as well.  We will put a tip
jar out.

 



 

See you on Friday, Andy Miller has volunteered to be in charge of you
misfits on Saturday.
