This email is to all that have expressed an interest in participating
(you're all BCCed to protect your anonymity).

LAST MINUTE INSTRUCTIONS

1) ENTRY - Be sure to STOP at the Stop Sign and DO NOT MOVE FORWARD to
the gate until the sentry waives you forward (an easy thing to forget, but
you'll make them very grumpy if you do). Everyone that has provided an RSVP
will have their name at the front gate to make things as easy as possible.
Those that haven't given me an RSVP should state that they are "with the
Military Radio Group, sponsored by the CSLO Museum". You should have your
vehicles registered and insured.

2) Head directly to the Museum Office at Building 807 to Check in. We
have secured a great location for presentations and display setups.
Instructions on where to go will be provided upon checking in at building
807 (see map below).

3) BRING CASH FOR THE DFAC. The Dining Facility will only accept cash,
and exact change will speed things up. There are close to 600 soldiers on
base getting chow, and we want them to have priority. You can get fast food
deliveries to CSLO for those that have a hankering for pizza. We will NOT
be hosting a pancake breakfast, just too much to pull off. Maybe next year.
Here are the DFAC hours and CASH costs:

a. Breakfast 6AM-7:30AM $7.50

b. Lunch 11:30AM-1PM $8.50

c. Dinner 5PM-6:30PM $8.50

4) EVENT FEE. Since you're all a bunch of cheap bastards, the cost for
attending this event is exactly ZERO dollars. That's right FREE. [Don't
let this set any expectations for future events though]. With that said, I
would LOVE to have some volunteers that will secure coffee service (you
know, those cardboard 'to go' coffee containers, and maybe a box or two of
donuts). We can have a "donation jar" available to collect from the
consumers. Hopefully, there will be enough donated to pay you back. If
you're staying in SLO, you're a prime volunteer. Let me know if you are
willing and able (so we don't end up with gallons of coffee and 10 boxes of
donuts).

Safe Travels! SEE YOU THERE

P.S. I ordered my jacket/shirt and they arrived last Sunday, so if you
ordered early you might have received them.

CHECK IN MAP [Head straight down Sonoma Avenue (the center main street) and
hang a right on Kern Ave, drive two blocks and the Museum Office is in the
building on the left, #807, last door on the right]
