There was at least one article (or two?)  about EEIS in Electric Radio, one by Col. Howard.

Statistically the EEIS marked equipment is rare, outnumbered by the duffel bag souvenir bring-backs.  None of my Japanese or German wartime electronics had an EEIS marking.
