[MRCG] 6 wire start-stop switch

What exactly is a WW2 USN 4 or 6 wire control unit? Answer: it depends. All you see in manuals is a schematic unless there is a specific remote as for the TDE. The start-stop station for the LOP is pretty clear but otherwise the control unit was ‘not supplied’ with the transmitter. I think it was basically considered part of the stations operating system and not a transmitter component.
This is the best explanation I can give after years of head scratching.
