Hi Dan - I will be camping up in the Sierras next weekend. I will be
bringing the PRC-174 and the TRC-77, plus the mounted GRC-9. I can also
bring the laptop for RATT and will try to be up at 1700 local PDST,, 30
Oct. 7087 kc, 850 cps shift, Space High....as usual for us...
However there may be lots of snow in our target campsite by then and it
will be getting dark - so that may be a deterrent.. Keeping a Weather Eye
on the situation but it would be fun to work RATT from up there.. Snow is
not a problem but rain is....
Alex and I worked Paul N6FEG from this spot shortly after this photo was
taken. GRC-9 on 160 meters AM many years ago. 75 meters had already died
so QSY to 160...(worked great!)
