Those 'NV readable' LEDs were used in all sorts of stuff in the 80s and 90s.Not sure if I have any left, but there were 6 or so on the front of the Electrospace KG-84 RCUs.--Ira Ira J. Moser, Owner, MECOwww.meco.org(425) 788-0208Orwell was an optimist!

The leads on the three LEDs are going to be way to short to align with holes on pc board. Easier with long wire leads. I'd use the orig. metal shell but don't know if LED will press out.Has anyone replaced the LEDs with black metal ring, used on 1990's vintage military radios. As soon as I get the OF-185 together, It will be for sale with PRC-128. I acquired the (VHF) PRC-128 in mint condition and the OF-185 was NIB. I used this combo for a low powered digipeater for about two months. Everything operated fine until one of the contacts on the spk/mic connector became "Stuck" in the depressed position!73 de TimAE7TH
