Hi Jim - I have been using EZNEC Demo Version 6.0 by W7EL. It only runs 20
segments but it's free and easy to use. https://www.eznec.com/
20 segments are enough to model my simple wire setups...I like it a lot,
maybe I'll buy the upgraded version with more Bells&Whistles...
Fun to play with, I learned a lot, it helped me design matching circuits
(along with a Smith Chart) and the models seem to indicate how the antennas
actually work. If you model "long wires" it will tell you where those deep
nulls are!
My Dogleg Inverted L elevation plot with the little "bulge"aimed at Andy.
Confirms how it works well in NVIS as desired..
