Hi Dan - I was able to bring up the R-390A on 7087 to drive a PC running
fldigi to monitor the freq. (Still no RATT TX here..)
I copied Bill very well, surprising since we are so close for 40 meters. I
also copied you fairly well so Fall propagation is improving somewhat for
these short distances...
Today's MRCG AM net also had good props - everyone was Q5 here...Looks like
my TCS is getting out well on CW with the Inverted L...
I'll get this RATT TX fixed at some point!
PS: I did hear the USS Iowa on 20 meters earlier today, not strong, but we
are very close for 20 meters. They were running a URT-23 as installed
during their re-fit of the 1980's...The guys on the east coast were hearing
them quite well..
