Hi Nick - Yep, the West Coast MRCG ran the more recent Clatternet for
several years but took last year off. We have re-started it as of last
week, had 2 checkin's plus 2 receive stations on Saturday at 2300- 2345Z,
45 minutes before the MRCG military AM net convenes on 3985 kc.
We run the "military" protocol; 850 cps shift, Space high, 45 baud. Window
frequency for now is 7087 kc. Net/tuning details:
http://www.mrcgwest.org/mrcg-radio-nets/

Jim, W6JVE in Fayetteville, AR was able to check in with us periodically in
the past so cross-country ops are possible. We should hear you!

I am running a PRC-47/dipole with the CV 2455 RATT interface and a homebrew
loop-to-RS-232-to-loop converter. (No mech terminal here so I am using an
ancient AST laptop running DOS 3.0 (!) as a glass terminal for now..)
Currently chasing the bugs out of the system so I am only able to receive
right now but TX should be back online shortly.. Now that we are all in
"The Brig" for awhile, time to dust off the RATT gear!
