I have a nice working Boonton model 160-A "Q" meter free for pickup on the San Francisco peninsula. It's great not only for measuring the "Q" of inductors, but also for measuring the inductance of coils at the rf frequencies for which they were intended. This can be very different from what an LCR meter operating at 1 KHz will tell you. Frequency range of this meter is 50 kHz to 75 MHz. It can measure Q up to 625 and inductance down to less than a microhenry.

This classic boatanchor test equipment is in good working order, perfect for making new rf coils for military equipment or homebrewing matching networks and filters. Come pick it up!
