I picked up a beautiful rebuilt R-390A which was super clean inside and had original covers for $250 which I thought decent. There was a booth which had bins full of high end coax adapters, about a quarter of them metrology grade, mostly new condition, for $2 each. Yeah I stocked up. Included were connectors for HP power sensors and the N connectors they use on the front panels of most of their gear.
The best part was seeing old friends and hanging out.

I was there for a good part of the day, and I have to say that if you’re looking for military radio “stuff”, there wasn’t a lot of it there. I scoured the flea market and found mostly flea’s. There were R-390’s, and a fair amount of Collins gear...all of it at eBay prices. So if you DROVE there...your savings wouldn’t be in the price...it would be in the shipping. Unfortunately, you DROVE there...so any treasures you leave with likely ended costing you more.

I think some of the gear looked better after the rain (at least in the flea market areas). Sunny & partly cloudy with a chance of more thunderstorms in the forecast.
