Yes Alex , the SCR 399 was used by the Dutch and believe the  French Forces into the early 80's. My Dutch friend drove by a field by a military base where they were going to scrap out and crush quite a few the HO-17 shelters and contents . My friend talked to the soldiers there if he could salvage stuff from the shelters...the soldiers said sure and they would give him a week to come and get what he wanted before they scraped them out. Thanks to Jan I was a recipient of some stuff salvaged there.

I can't see that happening here with our military...

Very impressive set up.  I wonder if it was actually easier to obtain and restore this type of setup in Europe with all the surplus dumped there.
I'll bet he doesn't move it around much based on the price of European petroleum products!
