Subject: [MRCA] Net Reminder - MRCA / MMRCG / West Coast Mil Radio Group
Weekly 75 Meter USB Rolling Net
To: <mrca at mailman.qth.net>

Copied today from http://mmrcg.org/ :

“MRCA / MMRCG / West Coast Mil Radio Group Weekly 75M USB Rolling Net

The Midwest Military Radio Collectors Group (MMRCG), in conjunction with
the Military Radio Collectors Association (MRCA) and the West Coast
Military Radio Group are happy to announce the formation of the 75M USB
Weekly Rolling Net. The net will meet weekly on 3996 kHz USB on Wednesday
nights, starting at 03:00Z (10:00 PM EST). Starting at 03:00Z on the East
Coast, MRCA will call the net. At 03:30Z, net control will pass to MMRCG
. At 04:00Z (8 pm EST), net control will pass to the West Coast Military
Radio Group. The success of this net depends on favorable propagation.
The rolling net will start effective November 7th, 2018.”

Please note the original launch of the net had the MRCA lead segment at
0200Z (9:00pm EST). This week it is one hour later (0300Z) to better match
up with the West Coast Mil Radio Group long standing net start time.

Last week check-ins to the MRCA segment of the 3996 net were: KW1I, WD8INC,
W9RAN, KBØSFP, WB4WCJ. It is not necessary to commit to the whole hour of
rolling net, but depending on propagation you may be interested in seeing
who checks in and how far your signal makes it as the net moves west.
