[MRCG] MRCG Annual Meet 2018 - Call for Volunteers

All-

Its time to work the details for the Annual Meet that will be happening 4th & 5th May at Camp San Luis Obispo this year. Help needed!

First - we need presenters for talks and displays and volunteers to coordinate them.

Second – based on last year’s success, we’re looking for 3 sponsors @ $150 each to offset costs. Sponsors will receive prominent credit in the display hall.
	Tom Murphy, W6TOM has graciously signed up as one of those, so that leaves 2 to go.
	FYI, This helps us keep the requested donation at $10 per person - the same as last year and remain in the black.

Third – we need 2 volunteers to organize and conduct the Junk Auction.

Special thanks to Paul, N6FEG, and Tim, N6CC, for help will publicity. Also, Tim helped secure this as an ARRL-affiliated event.

So this is where things are at – I’m working the final details with the NCO Club, insurance, and it looks like I’ll be able to get the use of Training Area Romeo (aka “The Hill”) for Friday, 4 May. As a side note, the NCO Club is being renovated to replace the siding and remove asbestos. It should be finished by our May dates – I’ll be getting an update later this month. The fallback if not complete is the O Club.
